Being able to watch free satellite TV online is surely one the internet’s most appealing offers since its’ inception.

When doing a search for the companies/websites that provide such services, you’ll be greeted with many choices. Some good, some bad and some downright ugly.

To avoid getting scammed, here are 5 tips to help you to choose the best satellite TV free online services. Please note that legitimate services will charge a fee, but usually will not charge a regular rebilling cycle.

1. Free or Paid?

There is nothing wrong with wanting to watch satellite TV free online. However, the problem is that free satellite TV website cannot always provide good quality TV channels.

Some free sites claim to have over 1000+ channels, but only a few work and there is not much difference of TV channels from one free TV online website to the others…and 1000 channels means nothing if they are all junk too, right?

Some free sites can only display a small image with no ability to increase to full screen. Some other websites offer pay per view TV online, but are very expensive.

Paid satellite TV free online software provides you with many TV channels as well as specialty channels free with a onetime flat fee of $49.99 to access over 5000 channels. Obviously, these are a better option in the long run and if you pick the right one, you’ll get some great channel choices too.

2. Amount of channels available

Many of the free services (along with some of the paid ones) offer between 1000 and 3000 channels. However, if you look hard enough and are willing to invest around $50, you’ll be able to find services that offer up to and beyond 4500 channels. Sure, many of them will be pretty poor, but having the choice is always a good thing isn’t it?

3.What software is required?

If you want to watch TV free online, your PC should have at least a minimum Pentium 3 CPU, with processing speeds higher than 333 MHz.

For Free satellite TV online, you have no say of what type of software being installed and some may require you to install their software before you can watch TV online…which can be a pain and use up some space on your memory, but that’s just part of the trade off to getting all this free tv I guess.

Paid services tend to come with more reliable, trustworthy software that are free from Spyware and Adware, so you’ll remain protected. In fact, one such service even offers anti Spyware software as one of their bonuses, which is pretty reassuring.

You can watch satellite TV free online on most operating systems like Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. That is practically all Windows Operating Systems.

4. Customer service and technical support

While most site selling satellite TV software and services promise a 24/7 technical support to tempt you to buy them, many are hardly around when you need them to help in technical support. Thankfully, there are a few reputable ones who can deliver an excellent level of after-sales service. It’s hard to know until you’ve already handed over your cash, but usually you can test the water by sending an email to their support team and seeing how long it takes to get a response.

5. The strength of their refund policy

Many services that sell satellite free TV online software sites just want to make more money and sell more of their software. While most sites promise a 100% refund guaranteed policy within 30+ days, many sites will ignore your request for a refund.

Only go with a company that is both reputable, or can at least offer an 8 week money back guarantee.

I hope these 5 tips will help you to pick a good service satellite TV online service. If you’d like to know which particular service I opted for, you can read an in depth review on my website which covers the pros and cons of the service, so you’ll know whether it’s right for you. Check it out here:

Are you sick of having a love/hate relationship with your TV service, with a heavy stress on hate, not on love? Do you have outdated home entertainment technology gracing your TV or living room? Do you have to smack the side of the tube to sharpen up the image, or to bring the audio back into your program? If this is the case for you, then you need to start down the path that will lead you back to a purely loving relationship with your television, and it starts by ordering a satellite TV subscription. With this simple step, you will be embarking on a complete revamping of your home entertainment system, which will culminate in a moment of sheer ecstasy when you realize that you have put together the best possible line up your living room could ever possibly be graced with.

The minute you put down the phone after having made your order for a satellite connection, you will want to head down to a local electronics shop and start deciding what kind of HD TV you are going to get yourself: the reason for this is that it is simply sacrilege to have a satellite connection without a high def set. With way more high def channels than cable is offering (exceeding 130 in total), you will be pulling your eyes out if you have to watch your satellite connection on a regular tube TV, so spare yourself the bodily injury and the anguish and just get a good, modern HD set. If you’re looking for something modest but top of the line, then try going for a plasma or LCD screen (both of which fall under the flat-panel section of high def TVs) below the 30-inch size, as prices and technological advantages are more or less comparable in this case.

Of course, you will probably have a professional installer at your home within less than 48 hours-as is standard among the more professional and reliable satellite providers-so don’t tarry with getting a high def set; you will want to have one in your house and out of the box the day of the service installation, since you and your family will be desperate to see some quality programming that very evening.

The installation process itself is pretty quick and painless, and thanks to the fact that it will be carried out by certified professionals, you won’t have to lift a finger. All that you need to do is verify that somewhere on your roof or wall there is a clear line of sight with the geostationary satellite in orbit miles and miles above the surface of the planet, and no more. The installers will mount your dish, secure it with reliable materials, and run some cables to the place you should choose to set up your home entertainment system, and configure the decoder. In a matter of only a few hours, you will be connected and ready to enjoy the absolute best in television, now on your spiffy new HD screen.

Look into DIRECTV deals from the nation’s leading provider of satellite television services. They offer the widest variety in programming packages for every taste, from sports to movies to family and educational television. Check out the many great DIRECTV packages available. Why settle for less when you can go with the best?

In the last 10 years more than 27 million people have switched from cable and over-the-air TV to satellite TV. But is satellite TV really that much better?

Let’s find out …

Satellite TV

Satellite TV is a television system whereby a broadcast center sends a signal containing TV programs to a satellite in orbit above the earth.

The satellite captures the signal and sends it back to earth, where it is picked up by a satellite dish and relayed to a TV set.

In order to receive a satellite TV signal you must have a satellite system — a dish to capture the signal, and a receiver to unscramble the signal and send it to your television.

Satellite TV History

In 1962, the first satellite TV signal was sent from Europe to North America via the Telstar satellite. The first first commercial satellite, Early Bird, was launched in 1965, and Satellite TV reception in the U.S. began in 1980.

Early satellite TV systems were expensive, costing anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000. The dishes were large — 10 to 12 feet in diameter — and the receivers and antenna rotators were bulky and complicated.

In 1994 the first DBS (direct broadcast satellite) was put into orbit, issuing in the era of the mini dish and the slim-line receiver, making it possible for anyone, even apartment renters and condo owners, to have satellite TV.

Satellite TV Providers

There are two major satellite TV providers in the U.S.A — DIRECTV and DISH Network.

DIRECTV

With 14.5 million customers, DIRECTV is the oldest and largest satellite TV provider in the USA.

DIRECTV is ranked #2 in customer satisfaction among all satellite and cable TV companies by J.D. Power and Associates.

DIIRECTV offers the following equipment and services:

* A Free satellite TV system — one dish and four receivers.

* Free installation and instruction on using the system.

* 250 channels with digital-quality picture and sound.

* 500 commercial-free movies per month.

* Up to 67 pay-per-view programs and events daily.

* 67 commercial-free XM radio channels.

* Toll-free, 24/7 customer service.

DIRECTV offers the most sports programming of the two satellite TV providers.

DISH Network

With more than 12 million customers, DISH Network is the second-oldest satellite TV provider, and is the fastest-growing provider.

DISH Network is ranked #1 in customer satisfaction among all the satellite and cable TV companies by J.D. Power and Associates.

DISH Network offers the following equipment and services:

* A Free satellite TV system — one dish and four receivers.

* Free installation and satellite TV system instruction.

* 256 channels with digital-quality picture and sound.

* 500 commercial-free movies a month.

* Up to 60 pay-per-view programs and events per day.

* 50 commercial-free Sirius radio channels and 52 music channels.

* Toll-free, 24/7 customer service.

DISH Network has the biggest variety of movies and shows of the two satellite TV providers, and offers the cheapest basic service package.

Satellite TV Dealers

There are more than 80 online dealers and thousands of offline dealers across the U.S.A.

Some dealers are reputable and will give you an honest deal, but a number of dealers will lure you into subscribing to their service, then hit you with hidden fees, provide you with shoddy installation, and give you zero customer service.

Before you subscribe to a satellite TV service, you should read their service agreement carefully and call their customer service to clarify anything that isn’t clear to you.

Note: Click on the links below for information on dealers that are reputable and give the best service at the best price.

Satellite TV Benefits

The main benefit of having satellite TV service is you can access up to 375 channels of TV programming. That gives you a lot more viewing options than cable or over-the-air TV.

In addition to regular TV programming, satellite TV allows you to tune into pay-per-view movies and special events, and to listen to more than 100 channels of commercial-free music on satellite radio.

Another benefit of satellite TV is the quality of the TV picture. Satellite TV is broadcast in digital format which produces a super sharp picture. Additionally, you have the option of ordering HD (high definition) TV for an even more lifelike picture.

Another benefit is the ability to record your favorite programs and to pause or fast-forward live TV using a DVR (digital video recorder).

Last, but not least, you get all the equipment you need to view satellite TV, including installation, absolutely free.

Conclusion

If you have over-the-air TV and don’t watch much television then satellite TV probably isn’t for you.

If, however, you watch a lot of TV or you have cable TV, then I recommend clicking on the links below to see what satellite TV has to offer.

With over 375 channels to choose from plus satellite radio, pay-per-view, movies, and programming packages starting at less than a dollar a day, you can’t go wrong with satellite TV.

Click on the following link for more information on free satellite TV systems and service, or these links for ordering information, the latest offers, and free bonuses from DISH Network satellite TV or DIRECTV satellite TV.

Satellite TV | HD TV | 3DTV

Satellite Television has been around since the middle 80′s and was a shared service transmitted through the Astra Satellite. Once the industry had settled down, the market was extremely narrow with only one major service provider for satellite television, and one other company who purchased the service direct from them to broadcast through cable.

In the early days, there was two companies who provided television pictures through satellite, one used a normal circular dish, and the other was called a Squarial, much the same but more square in appearance.

Early satellite receivers would only display a channel number on the box, which is slightly different to modern day HD receivers that will now display channel line up on screen as well as on the box.

Satellite boxes changed in the late 90′s, and started to be built with recording capabilities, using an internal hard drive system so that you could record a program whilst out and watch it at a later date. With this introduction, the sales of video recorders slowed down dramatically.

Fast forward to early 21st century, the next line of satellite systems came with advantage of recording one channel whilst watching another one at the same time, this was a major break through of the millennium which boosted sales in the satellite TV industry.

In 2006 came the receiver of the future, which to this date, is still the same format. The change was that you could receive HD ( High Definition ) picture quality as long as you had a HD Ready TV attached. With this new HD set top box, you could also record two programmes whilst watching another, due to the way the hard drive was configured.

In 2010, one of the largest satellite companies in the world released a test of 3D TV to a small selection of public houses across the UK, and transmitted a live football match to millions. Even though the system is in early stage development, TV manufacturers have started producing 3D TV’s ready for launch of the new service, which is anticipated to be called either 3DTV or 3HD which will be around April 2010.

Since the news of Three Dimensional TV transmission being available, people have been flocking to get the new terra bit HD receiver / set top box, which has extended record time giving more recording hours over the last standard HD Set Top Box.

The only one small draw back for 3DTV is that you will have to wear a special pair of glasses to view the programme. What these glasses do exactly, is correct your vision to see a three stage picture transmission. This in short will be three feeds onto the screen, a close picture, middle picture and distant picture.

With the combination of this and the 3D Glasses, your vision will stage the three pictures into one, creating a three dimensional experience.

Was this article any help to you?

Satellite TV has moved forward faster than most other home entertainment system, and because of this it is one of the most competitive industries even though, the only competition is cable TV.
With the launch of HD Satellite TV and 3DTV, there are now some great deals which can be achieved by ordering right now. The best value will always be available online when looking for Sky HD Offers – and are available 24/7 through any link on this page.
Beat the rush and get your Sky Supertelly by ordering online today – Super Colour + Super Sound = Supertelly!

Both providers offer many dedicated sports and movie channels. DIRECTV is the exclusive provider of the “NFL Sunday Ticket” which offers die hard football fans access to their favorite NFL team’s games.

HDTV:

What better way to put that new HDTV to work then to test out the many HD channels offered by the satellite tv providers. Dish Network currently has the highest amount of HD channels with over 30, however DIRECTV has recently announced that it will soon have the capacity for 150 HD channels.

Local channels:

For years, the biggest drawback to satellite tv was their lack of local network channels in many areas. Many viewers did not want to lose access to their local tv stations so they paid a few more bucks to the local cable tv company. Now both Dish Network and DIRECTV are now able to offer local channels for most markets.

Cost:

Generally costs of satellite tv is very competitive, many times it costs lower then a comparable amount of channels with the local digital cable provider. Both Dish Network and DIRECTV currently offer packages starting at under $30 per month, while their premier packages go up to about $90 per month.

Equipment:

In order to broadcast channels, there needs to be a line of sight between the broadcaster and receiver. While local broadcast channels lose line of sight due to mountains and the natural curve of the earth, satellite tv has the benefit of broadcasting from the sky where all you need is a line of sight to the southern sky. In order to receive these signals you need to use a powerful antenna, which is what the satellite dish is. In addition to the satellite dish, you will also need a receiver, which is included in the installation.

In the past, rural tv viewers were unable to view more then a fuzzy channel or two over the air broadcasts if the local cable company was not able to run cable to their home. Now anyone with line of sight to the southern sky can have access to the hundreds of crystal clear audio and video that satellite tv offers at a very competitive price.

Satellite tv is a great option to consider when looking at setting up your ultimate home theater system.

Satellite TV is not exactly a new source of home entertainment – it has been in use for a pretty long time by now. However, it is only recently that satellite service has seen a sharp rise in popularity. Unlike in the past, satellite service is now a strong competitor for cable TV in both urban and rural markets (previously, it was mostly rural residents who used satellite service). The many reasons that more and more people are signing up for satellite subscriptions these days include a wider selection of programming options and a more personalized viewing experience than what is available through cable television service.

With cable service, you are more limited when it comes to programming variety and choice of channels. Often you will end up with a lot of channels that do not interest you and will be forced to pay extra money to have access to the channels that you do want to watch. With satellite TV, on the other hand, you have a lot more freedom to pick and choose between channels in order to put together the service plan that is the best match for your personal television viewing habits.

Of course, all of these satellite TV benefits come at a price.

One thing that can cost a lot of money is the equipment needed in order to receive access to satellite service. For example, the most important component of a satellite system is the satellite dish, which can be quite expensive if you have to purchase your own equipment. Luckily, many satellite providers will lend you all the equipment you will need and even have it installed by a professional technician for no extra cost when you sign up for a year’s worth of service or more. In this case, the only costs that will really matter are the monthly fees you pay for your service.

The amount of money that you pay every month for your satellite TV service will depend on what service provider you end up using, as well as on what type of service you select. Of course, if you choose to have access to all the premium channels you will pay more than someone who just selects a basic plan. In general, the most basic plans start at around twenty dollars a month. These plans tend to come with access to around fifty channels. For only about forty or fifty dollars, you can more than double this number of channels. The most high end packages bring you access to nearly 300 channels and usually include built in recording devices.

With all the benefits that currently come with satellite TV service, it is no wonder that it has become so popular in recent years. Though satellite service, depending on the package that you select, may end up costing a bit more than cable service, it is well worth the extra money. In addition to better programming variety and interactive features, satellite users also have access to 24 hour technical support, sometimes at no additional cost.

Are you one of those people who go on vacation and spend the whole time in their hotel room because they just can’t stop playing with the TV? If you get more excited about the interactive features on your hotel’s TV than the place you are traveling, then satellite TV is for you. The interactive features available in hotel rooms do not just have to be for when you are on vacation. With satellite service, you can get these features at home. And it is with good reason that more and more people are choosing satellite to meet their personal home entertainment needs.

Satellite TV is great for channel surfers. If you are still using cable at home, you might not have access to the on-screen program guides that come with all satellite subscriptions. These guides are great for channel surfers because they let you browse quickly through all the programs being shown at a given time. Without having to pause on each channel, you can see the title and length of a program, and gleam additional information about the show, such as a brief summary of the program, as well as the main actors and director. This on-screen guide is able to be a part of every satellite package because all satellite signals are transmitted using digital format, which is also what makes possible all of the high definition programming that comes with satellite service.

Another interactive TV feature that people love about staying in a hotel is the ability to choose what programs you want to watch and when you want to watch them. This is because of the pay-per-view services that most hotel packages offer. To order pay-per-view programming, you use the on-screen guide mentioned above to get information about the various movies and TV shows available to purchase, and then you simply select what you want to see and get to watch it right then and there. But, again, you do not have to go to a hotel to get access to these same interactive pay-per-view services. With a satellite TV subscription, you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home, as well.

Similar to pay-per-view services (in that it allows for flexibility of when a given program is available to be seen) and perhaps the most exciting of all the interactive features available through satellite service is the DVR, or digital video recorder. Like pay-per-view services, DVRs allow users to choose what they want to watch and when they want to watch it. Unlike pay-per-view, however, using your DVR to do so does not cost any additional fees. With a DVR, you can record, pause, rewind, or fast forward live programming. With satellite TV, you get access to many, many channels – so many, in fact, that you probably will not be able to watch everything you want to see right when it airs. But with a DVR, you can record the programs you miss and watch them at a later time that is convenient for you.

Bring the interactive features that you love about hotel TVs to your own home with direct tv. direct tv offers you the best in interactive home entertainment, at prices you can afford.

All across the United States, business owners are facing a truly difficult scenario that is barely showing any signs of letting up: despite forecasts that predict a slight upturn beginning right about now, most business owners feel like they are still in the pits, at the bottom of the barrel, sloshing around in the dregs. And business owners are, on average, smart enough to know that they need to guide themselves by their own experiences and not by what some PhD in Economics is forecasting for the national economy. Given the circumstances, most business owners are having to make very important decisions for their enterprise’s future, and the earlier such decisions are made the sooner the positive effects they bring will be felt. One intelligent solution that owners of many different kinds of businesses are beginning to implement is simply having a satellite TV service installed on their business premises; as will be discussed below, this seemingly trifling move could prove to have major consequences on a business’s operations.

How so? Well, as ought to be expected, customers like to congregate where they know a quality service is being provided; and satellite television has become pretty much a synonym of “quality” in these times. Needless to say, our nation is one which has a high degree of affinity for the television in general: we are so dependent on the latest information and on just having something entertaining and distracting on the screen that we generally don’t know what to do with ourselves in their absence. And no matter what a person (or a good group of persons, i.e. a business’s customer body) is looking for on the tube, satellite TV is virtually guaranteed to have it.

That’s because nobody beats out satellite television when it comes to variety and quality in programming. For starters, no other service can offer such an extensive list of channels, a point which already clearly signals the superiority of satellite TV; but on top of sheer numbers, satellite also offers top quality programming-both quantity and quality are included in the deal, and any savvy business owner knows that one without the other is just not good enough, not in these rough economic times.

To really give businesses a competitive edge, however, satellite TV business packages cut out all the extras that don’t serve businesses’ interests much at all and concentrate the crowd-pleasers that most certainly do serve those interests, bringing the price down and driving the results up of such a service. Heavy on the types of sports channels, news channels, movie channels and major networks that viewers enjoy and demand above all others, these business packages are guaranteed to make customers feel like their presence is appreciated by the owner of the establishment, and furthermore to make them continue to come back more and more often in search of that added-value experience that they just can’t get enough of. Any business owner that is willing to pass that sort of an opportunity up simply is unlikely to make it through the current economic times unscathed.

With directv for business, you can choose between directv packages specifically tailored to boost your business’s bottom line. Isn’t it time you tried out this ingenious business solution?!

It is no secret that satellite TV is gaining its popularity fast and pop up to be the fastest growing household products in United States. Are you like everyone else who is exploring the alternative in paid TV services? Well if this is the case, I am sure that you are interested to take a look on the satellite TV services and review both of its pros and cons.

The plus points with satellite TV services

1. Wide service coverage

Unlike cable that are limited to TV cables, satellite TV are utilising the orbiting satellite system above our sky. Hence, the service coverage is pretty wide that theoretically, we can get the satellite signal all around the globe surface. In most situations, the transmission is clear and uninterrupted and the TV feeds you receive at home are almost distortion-free.

2. Better quality TV

All satellite TV signals are transferred in digital format. This in turns ensure the picture quality on the viewer’s end is in superior condition. Also, make full use of your high definition television! I am sure what you need is as much HD programming as possible – which in turn, means you need satellite TV as Dish Network and DirecTV are the paid TV service with the most HD channels currently.

3. Service recovery during breakdown

When compare with cable, satellite TV service recovers much faster during power outage. During major power breakdown and extreme storms, power is often cut off and homes experience instantaneous blackouts. When power supply is finally restored, the recovery for satellite TV is much faster than cable lines which supply you with cable TV. While this feature might sounds silly to you; people who live in parts of the States subjected to frequent bad weather would appreciate it a lot.

4. Wide programming selections

Cable TV offers about 130 channels in most standard programming packages. In contrast, both main satellite TV providers (Dish and DirecTV) offer up to 250+ programming channels. On top of that, DISH Network and DirecTV offer plenty of HDTV programming, which it’s hardly found on major conventional cables in the past.

The minus points with satellite TV services

1. Additional cost for special programming packages

Customers are often required to pay extra money in order to get special programming packages such as live broadcast on NASCAR races and NFL games. Sadly, the monthly subscription fees you pay to the satellite TV service providers only entitle you to a limited number of channels. Some of the best sports events and premium movie channels are not part of the package. This in turn, raise up your monthly expenses with satellite TV service.

2. Short of valuable add-on

When consumers order their cable TV services, they are often delighted with the company’s bundle services – where you can get phone, Internet, radio, and TV services all under one company. Comcast for example, offers their bundle service in cheap price and help their customers to save a lot in overall.
Satellite TV companies, namely, Dish Network and DirecTV, on the other hand have nothing much to offer besides quality TV entertainment. Yes, DirecTV do link up with DirecWay for the satellite Internet services but the connection speed is slightly slower than average broadband speed. What’s worse is that satellite Internet connection always surfer a constant latency error, which disallow online gamers to enjoy their game smoothly.

Conclusion

As we can see from the list above, satellite TV system might not be the right choice for everyone. Evidently, there are both pros and cons with satellite TV services. So, before you head right to any satellite TV service provider, make sure you know what your needs are and what satellite TV system offers. Be a smart consumer and spend only when it is necessary – don’t just get satellite deals because your wife sister’s friends say so.

In case you are looking for the right satellite TV deal, http://www.gosatellitedeals.com might be a good place to start off for your consumer reading.
